How does a Septic Tank work?

The wastewater from the home fills into the PIONEER Septic Tank which hold the waste until solid debris settles at the bottom of the tank and lighter waste rises to the top. The liquid between this layer flows into the outlet pipe. Bacteria in the septic tank naturally break down organic waste matter and slow the accumulation of the sludge layer.
